NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND
BOARD ELECTION FOR
TERRACE RIVER MASTER ASSOCIATION

Dear Community Member,

The Terrace River Master Association (TRMA) Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Omar K. Lightfoot Center, 10901 N. 56th St. Temple Terrace, FL 33637.

We urge you to attend the meeting in person or via Zoom.

Attendance will be taken in-person. Each officially signed, limited proxy will be registered. Members who are not physically attending the Annual Meeting, and wish to vote, must vote by limited proxy. This means that your limited proxy ballot must be received by the Association Secretary or a Director of the Board that will be physically present at the meeting.

The purpose of your homeowner association is to give you a voice in the welfare and development of the Terrace River community. A few hours of your time to make important decisions is a worthwhile commitment to ensure 2023 is a positive and beneficial year for all of us. 

The TRMA 2023 proposed Budget was included with your first notice letter. The budget estimated expense items and justification. There are several items on the ballot that may result in additional expenses, if they are passed. After the Annual Meeting voting has concluded, the board will prepare a Notification of Annual Dues to be sent to the members with the amount due for 2023 and the deadline for payment.

We urge you to attend the meeting in person or via Zoom. If you cannot attend in person, then make your vote count by limited proxy. A limited proxy form is available in the Document included in this email/mailing for a designated person (your limited proxy holder) to vote on your behalf. Read the limited proxy form carefully.

Dear Community Member,

Due to the limited availability of the room in the Omar K. Lightfoot Center, and unforeseen changes in the travel schedule of the President of the Board of Directors the TRMA Board of Directors had to make changes and reschedule the Annual Meeting of the Association to December 20th, 2021 06:00 PM. Please mark the change in your calendars. This letter will serve as THE FIRST NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING. Please disregard any previous notifications.

The Terrace River Master Association, Inc. (TRMA) is inviting you to get involved in your homeowner’s community association. The Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 06.00 PM in the Omar K. Lightfoot, 10901 N. 56th St. Temple Terrace, FL 33637. We urge you to attend the meeting via Zoom.

The Notice of Candidacy is for anyone homeowner interested to nominate themselves or nominate any other homeowner as a candidate for election to the Board of Directors. Members will elect Directors at the December 20, 2021, annual meeting. We will also announce the members of the nomination committee at that same meeting.

 I encourage you to participate in your community by utilizing your gifts and talents to make this community the best it can be.

A future BUDGET meeting for all homeowners will be held on December 18th.

A tentative board meeting agenda for the pre-budget meeting on Thursday is:

1.       Old business

1.1. Repairs/modifications of the sprinkler system at the entrance of the community

1.2. Letter to the City of Temple Terrace and/or Hillsborough County for the condition of the sidewalk outside of the community, along the Harney Rd.

2.       Reading of minutes from previous meetings.

3.       Preparation for the Annual meeting.

4.       Pre-Budget review.
